Hollywood co-owners make every effort to visit SToK Racecourse as often as possible during any given EFL campaign. Since acquiring the Red Dragons in 2021, the pair have taken in some memorable trips to North Wales – with back-to-back promotions being enjoyed.

Reynolds and McElhenney were back for the opening day in 2024-25, as Wrexham claimed a dramatic 3-2 victory over Wycombe. They continue to generate plenty of content for the club’s award-winning documentary, but cannot commit fully to a surprising sporting venture as both have acting day jobs and are based in North America.

Parkinson has said of the boost that famous faces bring to Wrexham whenever they take in the live matchday experience: “I have always said that when Rob, Ryan and Humphrey Kerr are here, there is an electricity in the place. They are great at relaxing everybody and we always enjoy it when they come over. It's difficult because it is a long way from the USA and they are both very busy but when they come over, there is a real lift around the place; not just in the dressing room but around the ground as well.”
WHAT NEXT FOR WREXHAM?
McElhenney said on the back of his latest visit to Wrexham that he intends to be back “in the fall”. Parkinson will be hoping to have plenty of points on the board by the time co-chairmen return – with four being picked up from early outings against Wycombe and Bolton.
