The Italian manager has already guided the club to the Spanish Cup and La Liga titles in the current campaign and has also ledthem to the Champions League final. This was only the second time Ancelotti won the Spanish championship and his seventh league title overall.

On their way to the title triumph, the Spanish giants smashed several records including keeping 20 clean sheets, their best-ever tally in the top-flight. They have also managed to concede just 22 goals thus far in the season. The club could also achieve 99 points if they win their remaining matches, which will be one less than their best-ever tally of 100 points which they registered under Jose Mourinho in the 2011/12 season.

Speaking to reporters, the veteran manager said, "Yes, without a doubt, it is my best league. We have won the league with merit. They have waited for our puncture and there has not been one. Now we have to continue."
